The gang of masked men who allegedly robbed a store at an Emarat petrol station by threatening the staff at gunpoint has been arrested.
Two UAE nationals and a Yemini are also accused of robbing another petrol station in Industrial area 5, reported 'Gulf News'.
A CID official of Sharjah Police said all three men are unemployed and have previous criminal records.
On being alerted of the robbery at about 4.30am on Thursday, the CID team set about their investigation and soon learnt that the licence plate of the 4x4 vehicle they used was forged.
One of the suspects was arrested while trying to cross the border.
Money was the motive of the crime, they confessed. Sharjah Public Prosecution has taken over the case.
