Police seminar underlines UAE's 'happiness' levels

UAE occupies first place among Arab countries and is ranked 14th at a global level, on the list of happiest countries in the world.
Dr Mohammed Murad Abdullah, Director of the Centre for Decision Support of Dubai Police reminded a seminar about this fact, based on a list compiled by Columbia University in the United States of America, comparing 156 countries, measuring the happiness of people in each nation.
Dr Abdullah said that this is the result of the UAE government’s near- and long-term goals, which aims to make the people of the UAE the happiest people in world.
This a statement was released at a police seminar on ‘Happiness and Security’ held on Wednesday, November 25.
Columbia University’s ‘happiness standard’ looks at various factors, including income distribution, job stability, family cohesion and security.
Freedom and human dignity is also rated.
Dr Murad stressed that a rise in income alone does not bring happiness.
He added that ‘Happiness and Security’ is a global issue and need of every human being.
