Porter charged for stealing passenger’s phone

A porter at Dubai International Airport allegedly stole passengers’ luggage, the Dubai Criminal Court heard on Wednesday.

MHM, 35, is accused of stealing mobile phones while carrying passenger’s bags at Terminal No1.

Policeman Mohammed Abdullah testified that the accused confessed to stealing from passengers’ luggage.

Police confiscated two mobile phones, golden and silver jewellery and different currencies from his house.

The court adjourned the case for verdict till July 27.
