Proper disposal of bulk waste urged in Dubai

The waste management department of Dubai Municipality has urged residents of the Emirate of Dubai to utilise its free service to directly remove bulk home waste and agricultural waste.

Abdul Majeed Saifaie, Director of the Waste Management Department, said, "Dubai has achieved the status of a global city with a high position in many aspects in the international community. Perhaps the most important of these aspects would be its cleanliness and its reputation has been associated with the sustainable cleanliness of streets, neighbourhoods, parks, beaches and even desert areas.

"We request the general public to dispose of all waste properly in designated areas as per DM’s instructions. Any community member can contact us on 800900 for free removal of bulky home waste which cannot be disposed of in standard waste containers,” he added.
