Prostitution victim was kept on a leash

An Asian woman visitor told the Dubai Criminal Court how she was forced into prostitution by a gang that tortured her when she refused to oblige.

A woman used to tie her hair with a rope and pull at it strongly each time the victim refused to listen to her, reported 'Gulf Today'.

BSA, visitor, had come to UAE to work in a beauty salon, but fell into the hands of the gangsters who locked her in a flat and forced her into flesh trade.

The victim added that the gang took her from one flat to another for nine days and she was asked to keep a record of people whom she entertained. 

In an attempt to flee the place, she wrote messages for help on pieces of paper and threw them out of the window, hoping someone would find them, the victim added.

An Indian expatriate found one such paper on which the victim’s cry for help had been scribbled out, and reported the case to the police, who despatched a patrol to the location.

Two women and a man are accused of human trafficking and using a flat for the trade.
