Protocol School training course from Jan17

The Protocol School of Washington will conduct a training course for government officials and business executives in Dubai from January 17 to 20 under the patronage of Protocol Department Dubai.

The Protocol Department of Dubai is the official department responsible for managing and organising local and international protocols for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as members of the Ruling Family, VIPs and official visitors of the country.

An official release on Wednesday said the course would cover topics to equip officials with skills needed in today’s international business, military and diplomatic world.

“The core essence of the protocol profession is ‘Respect’. It’s about being respectful, being respectable and embracing respectability. Our patronage and support to the Protocol School of Washington to conduct their 3rd International Protocol Manager Training course from 17-20 January will play an important role in emphasizing this purpose as well as achieving our shared enthusiasm to develop and impart excellence in this field” said Ahmad Alzaabi, Assistant Director General of Protocol Department-Dubai.
