Rain and strong winds are being reported in parts of the UAE on Tuesday, a day after Masafi recorded a hailstorm.
The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has issued a weather warning, alerting residents of convective clouds associated with rain and fresh winds over the eastern parts of the country.
NCMS further stated that visibility may also be hindered due to blowing dust in some areas.
The UAE has been experiencing medium to heavy showers since last week, following a depression that had formed over the Arabian Sea.
While thunderstorms have been recorded these past few days in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, parts of Dubai and Al Ain have also seen rainfall since last Thursday.
NCMS, meanwhile, also confirmed that Masafi experienced hail and rain on Monday, with wadis reportedly overflowing with water.
