Rain lashes Fujairah; more rain in UAE in coming hours

Rains lashed Fujairah city and its suburbs on Thursday.

Rain water has inundated valleys (wadis), farms and lowlands. Fujairah resident Jan Montiger, a Facebook fan of Emirates 24l7, said in a comment an hour ago that it's raining in Fujairah.

The sky remains cloudy. More rain is likely in the coming hours.

It rained for about 20 minutes on Wednesday morning in Jebel Ali.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) expects rain in other areas too on Thursday and Friday.

As a result, the maximum temperature is also likely to stay below 40 degress Celsius on Thursday and Friday.
