Rains forecast over next 48 hours

The weather will continue to remain cloudy with partial rainfall across the coastal areas during the next 48 hours, the meteorology department has said.

“Rains can be expected during afternoons and in the evenings. The main reason for the scattered showers is a development of low clouds over Iran and adjoining areas. However, chances of rains will reduce by Thursday although the weather will continue to remain cloudy,” said a spokesperson for the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology.

In Dubai the temperature will continue to remain cool with a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 35 degree Celsius. 

According to the weather forecast there are chances of some towering clouds and scattered rain, especially over the western and the eastern areas on Tuesday and over the western and the northern areas on Wednesday. Wind speed will be moderate, freshening at times causing blowing dust over some internal and openland areas. Sea will be moderate, may become rough during thundery rain on Wednesday with wave height 3 - 5/6 ft offshore.
