RAK slashes traffic fines by half for 3 months

Fines for traffic violations have been slashed by 50 per cent for three months starting on Sunday August 18, the Ras Al Khaimah police has announced.

Brigadier General Mohammad Nubian Mohammed, deputy commander of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, said some vehicle owners had accumulated large fines and this decision should help them to pay off their fines.

He urged vehicle owners to take advantage of the discount and pay off their traffic fines as early as possible.
