A Pakistani salesman allegedly stole from his employer flash memories worth Dh14,753. He also attempted to steal more worth Dh6,000.

On July 31, at around 4pm Mukhtar Shah, 20, salesman went to the store and saw his colleague SHR, looked confused and holding a bag in his hand.

“I asked him why he was there and what was in his hands,” Shah. “He claimed that one of the company’s security staff told him to take this bag which was dumped outside the shop. But when I asked how he could get into the store as he does not have a key, he confessed to making a copy for stealing from the store. He confessed that that time was not the first,” testified Shah.

SHR,25, confessed to stealing the store’s key, making a copy and stealing flash memories and selling them. The court adjourned the case for verdict until October 13.
