Owners of used car shops in Abu Shagara and Abu Daniq received circular from Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) notifying them about evacuation before December 31, 2015, reported ‘Emarat Al Youm’.
The notice urged owners to begin moving their showrooms to the auto market in Al Hamra’a area – located at the intersection of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Dhaid Road.
SEDD circular mentions that legal procedure will be initiated against those who fail to comply with the decision.
The steps aims to ease traffic congestion and improve parking spaces to residents of Abu Shagara and Abu Daniq areas.
The new market, spreading over 420,000 sqm, has dedicated areas for various auto services.
