Sharjah Police arrest car theft suspect

Sharjah Police arrested a suspect on charges of stealing contents from cars parked in Khorfakkan.

The CID department of Sharjah Police set into action following several complaints from residents, all of them citing that they had seen an unknown person in a car in their area.

The suspect confessed to police that he would track cars parked and break in through the windows to steal items.

He also told police that he sold the stolen goods.

He has been transferred to Public Prosecution.
