Sharjah Police cuts speed limit from 121kmph to 101kmph: Which streets?

Sharjah Police has reduced the speed limit on the First (Jerdayaa) and Second street (Omar ibn al-Khattab), in Khor Fakkan to 101kmph instead of 121kmph, Sharjah Police said in a statement.

Major Mohammed Khalfan Al Kindi, Head of Traffic and Patrols Department of Acting, Eastern Province Police Department, said that changing the speed limit is part of the overall traffic safety plan.

He said: “Radars have been installed and tuned on the streets mentioned, in order to increase traffic control.”
