A road link between Al Dhaid Road and Maliha Road in Sharjah is partially closed for the duration of one month, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has announced.
The road closure started on Sunday this week, and will continue to be in place until the end of August.
The road concerned is a link between the two highways, leading to residential areas Al Juraini and Al Gharayen from Interchange 4.
Traffic will be diverted to one lane in each direction for the duration of the project.
The road closure will allow for the construction of a new roundabout with two lanes in four directions, to ensure smooth traffic flow and ease congestion in the area and on the roads leading to this area, said the SRTA.
