Shuttle bus service Yas Express extended to connect with Saadiyat

The Yas Express shuttle bus service has extended to include two additional pick-up points, connecting Yas Island and Saadiyat.

With the addition of St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, both located on Saadiyat, the route now caters to five hotels and two leisure destinations located on Yas Island.

By providing a reliable shuttle service, the new route connects with the current Yas Express loop, which currently includes stops at Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Plaza Hotels, Yas Viceroy Hotel and Yas Central, enabling visitors to enjoy each and every aspect of the Island hassle free,” explained Yas Express.

The extended route was opened on July 1st and includes six rides daily; 3 pickups (10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm) in the morning and 3 drop offs in the afternoon (3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm).

“This is the first time a service like this has been offered between the two destinations, says Karim El Guanaini Vice President of Yas Island Destination Management. “With both Islands offering such unique experiences, it is in our best interest to ensure we enhance the connectivity between each, providing visitors with an all encompassed complement to their overall Abu Dhabi experience.”

The ride between Yas Island and Saadiyat takes less than 30 minutes.

Stations for the shuttle bus service will be at the hotels and leisure destinations only. However, the service is free to the public and everybody can hop-on, said Yas Express.
