Six arrested for stealing over 1,000 mobiles
Sharjah police seized six Bangladeshis who broke into a warehouse in Dubai and made away with more than 1,000 mobile phones, press reports said on Tuesday.
The six were planning to sell the 1,031 handsets in Sharjah after succeeding in robbing the electronics store in Rashidiya area, Al Ittihad said.
Acting on a tip-off, Sharjah police raided their house in Butina area in Sharjah and seized 926 mobile phones.
Police also seized 105 handsets with two other accomplices at their house in Samnan area.
