Smart robot Titan coming for Abu Dhabi GP

The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD is bringing the world renowned Titan the Robot to Yas Marina Circuit to entertain race-goers during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from November 2-4.

This year, NBAD will also bring magician James Harrington to the Formula 1 Village.

"The National Bank of Abu Dhabi is determined to make each Formula 1 event at Yas Marina Circuit exciting and memorable for all race-goers," said May Ibrahim Bumajeed, Deputy Head of Corporate Communication Department at NBAD.

This is the second year in the row that NBAD is bringing Titan to Formula 1. Titan, who travels to exciting events around the world, is considered one of the world's smartest robots. It stands about 2.4 metres tall and weighs about 350 kg.

Before making its first appearance at a Grand Prix event, Titan has appeared in Hong Kong, England and at the Commonwealth Games.

The Yas Marina Circuit (YMC) is home to Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix, and is rated as the best racing circuit in the world.
