Eight children with special needs were injured in a traffic accident in Ras Al Khaimah.
Their mini school bus rammed into a car and overturned, said Brigadier Ghanim Ahmed Ghanim, Director-General, Central Operations Room, RAK Police.
There were 10 children in the minibus aged between 7 and 17.
The minibus driver entered a roundabout without checking if it was clear, said Brigadier Ghanim.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police teams and ambulance rushed to the site and transferred injured students to the nearest hospital. All injuries are reportedly minor.
Police informed school administration and ensured safety of all students.
