A team of special needs peopel dressed in green T-shirts came into the Al Quoz offices of Dubai Media Inc. bearing potted plants and flowers for all the mothers [and future mothers-to-be] in Emirates 24|7 and Emarat Al Youm.
The occasion was Mother's Day on Wednesday.
The visit was organised by the Desert Group and the people with special needs were all workers that are employed by the Dubai-based company.
"Oh, it was such a lovely surprise. I never expected anything of this sort. In the office I do not think of myself as a mother and it was such a pleasant experience to be reminded that I am one - especially in such a beautiful way," said Sneha May Francis, a Reporter with Emirates 24|7.
"What really moved me was the thought for all women in the office. I am newly-married, but as yet I do not have children. But these well-wishers did not exclude me. I had one of them come up to me and offer me a bouquet with a smile," added
Ajantha Paul, Sub-editor.
"It was very kind gesture, very touching and absolutely apt for Mother's Day," said Bindu Rai, Reporter.
The team was led by Ibrahim Ali, Special Needs Specialist with the Desert Group.
