Street brawl: Emirati injured in knife attack

An Emirati was wounded in a knife fight, which took place on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zaid street in Ras Al Khaimah.

Col Faisal Saeed Al Mail, head of the police station in Al Hamrah Island, the operation room received information that a national was injured in a fight and the suspect has fled the scene.

Police and ambulance rushed to the site and transferred the injured to hospital.

Probe was initiated to nab the suspect, also an Emirati.

He was soon captured and he confessed to getting into a brawl with the injured man.

Legal procedure will be now initiated against the suspect.

Brigadier Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Director of the General Directorate of Ras Al Khaimah Police, urged citizens not to use weapons to settle score with each other.
