Street in RAK closed for maintenance

Ras Al Khaimah’s Public Works Department today announced that it would close Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Street for traffic from today (Wednesday) for six months, urging motorists to use alternative routes.

Brigadier Mohammed Saeed Al Hamidi, Director-General of Central Operations at Ras Al Khaimah Police, explained that it’ll be partial closure of Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Street – which is a main artery for traffic in the emirate – from Post Intersection to Al Sadaf Roundabout.

He appealed all drivers and road users to cooperate with the police and the Public Works Department until the completion of the road works.

He asked drivers to abide by traffic rules and guidelines for the safety of all road users.
