Stunt driver jailed for 32 months in Al Ain

A court in the eastern oasis town of Al Ain sentenced an Emirati to 32 months in prison after he was found guilty of endangering the lives of road users stunt driving on the road, the press reported on Sunday.

The unnamed defendant was also convicted of throwing a cocktail bomb on another car, causing severe damage to it.

The man and three other defendants had been sentenced to various jail terms by a court of first instance but an appeals court acquitted the other three and retained the prison term against that defendant.
