Swiss envoy thanks Ajman Police; Dh4.5m fake watches seized

Switzerland’s Ambassador to the UAE, Andrea Reichlan, praised the role of General Command of Ajman Police in pursuing vendors and distributors of counterfeit products here.
 
She thanked Brigadier Sheikh Sultan Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and staff of  Hamedya police station for their relentless efforts in stopping  vendors of counterfeit products from operating in the UAE.
 
Their efforts helped confiscate more than 18,000 fake Swiss watches worth approximately Dh4.5 million.

Reichlan also expressed gratitude and thanked the UAE Ministry of Interior for their efforts in curbing such crimes. These activities affected not only the health and safety of the consumer, but also the economic situation in general, she said.
Brigadier Al Nuaimi said Ajman Police is doing its utmost, in cooperation with other state security agencies to protect commercial property for any global product.
