Tasjeel, the UAE’s one-stop-shop for all vehicle testing and registration needs, unveiled growth plans to double its network in the next four years to cater to increasing population growth.

The company plans to add 12 new sites; six in Dubai and six in the Northern Emirates including Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman for the first time.

With a 15.4 percent revenue growth in 2015, Tasjeel tested over one million vehicles during the same year with increased focus on implementing new technologies to enhance customer experience.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC, said: “Tasjeel ensures that customers complete their vehicle testing and registration easily, efficiently and economically with a strong focus on speed, convenience, comfort and safety. We are a dominant player in Dubai and Sharjah but to remain in the forefront, our strategy focuses on the use of advanced technology, trained and experienced staff and continuous innovation in market offerings and initiatives such as the Mobile Vehicle Inspection System, On Board Diagnostic Testing, among others.”

Due to rising demand and increasing number of vehicles, ENOC and Dubai Police partnered in 1999 to set up Tasjeel.

In 2006, Tasjeel also took over vehicle testing from Sharjah Police, becoming the sole testing and registration provider in Sharjah.

Tasjeel is investing in new technologies that will improve efficiency and enhance customer-service.

The company is planning to use tablets integrated with the RTA system in test lanes which will improve efficiency of the test bay.

The company signed an exclusive four-year vehicle testing services agreement with Copart UAE Auctions, a global online vehicle auction company.

As part of the agreement, Tasjeel will provide various technical testing services to small, medium and heavy vehicles.

Other exclusive agreements have been signed with Emirates Auction, Itihad Auction, WWA Auction and Al Wataniya Auction.

Another significant development for Tasjeel has been its partnerships with major fleet companies.

This year Tasjeel signed exclusive agreements with Shift Car Rental, Automall, Hertz Rent a Car, Emirates Transport and Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services to undertake vehicle testing and registration.

Tasjeel undertakes all mandatory tests that are required for vehicle registration. Currently, Tasjeel owns and operates 11 sites and five mobile units in Dubai, Sharjah, Khorfakkan, AlDhaid and Hatta which use state-of-the-art equipment.

All of Tasjeel’s sites are equipped with the latest testing and inspection machinery and professionally qualified staff members.

With more than one million customers in the UAE, Tasjeel provides fast, convenient vehicle testing and registration services
