Ten people sustained light to serious injuries in sporadic traffic mishaps on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi road caused by thick fog Monday morning.
Authorities described one as serious, two as moderate and seven as light injuries. Seven persons have already left hospital after treatments while the three others are still in the hospital.
A total of 25 vehicles were also damaged in isolated accidents due to poor horizontal visibility.
Director of Traffic and Patrol Brigadier Hussain Ahmed Al Harithi said that mobile hospitals and ambulances could rescue in time all those who were caught up in the vehicles and remove them to hospitals.
