A policeman who arrested three Arabs accused of human trafficking told the Dubai Criminal Court on Tuesday he confiscated passports of Moroccan women and pictures of women in seductive poses from the home of two of the accused.

Besides, the raiding team confiscated a paper with payment amounts mentioned next to the names of women.

Answering a question by the defence lawyer representing the first and second accused, the policeman said he did not remember if the names on the sheet were the same as those on the passports.

The court presided by Judge Al Saeed Mohammed Barghouth adjourned the case until September 19 for hearing other witnesses.

MMH, Lebanese company partner, 24; AS, Moroccan saleswoman, 25; and AMS, Egyptian director, 35, were accused of bringing into the country a 20-year-old Moroccan woman on a visit visa and forcing her to work as a prostitute.

The three denied the accusation in an earlier hearing.

The victim had told the prosecution that she knew AS through a third woman in Morocco. She started asked her to help her find a job in the UAE. AS made her sign a document stating that she has received an amount equal to Dh50,000 to ensure her seriousness in travelling to the UAE.

AS and MM received the victim at the airport and took her to a flat in Dubai where she met another Moroccan woman.

AS took the visa and the passport from her and took her pictures in a red dress claiming that these would help in finding a job. But she found herself a captive in a flat and forced to practice prostitution.

The victim planned to escape while going out to meet customers. When her plan succeeded, she called police who trapped the suspects.
