Three Asian farmers have been sentenced to life imprisonment for drug peddling.
The Dubai Criminal Court awarded the sentence to SK, RA and MM for possessing 4.9gm of opium.
They were arrested in a sting operation. SK was caught handing over the drug for Dh500 to an undercover cop.
SK confessed during interrogation and led the cops to RA and MM from whom he bought the stuff.
