Two arrested for storing 'paan'

Two Asians have been arrested for storing 'paan' (betel leaves with lime, areca nut and tobacco).

The banned item was seized from a residential apartment in Powerhouse area in Abu Dhabi, reported 'Gulf News'.

The accused had stored a large quantity of paan for distribution and consumption,  said Khalifa Mohammad Al Rumaithi, Director of Public Health Division, Abu Dhabi Municipality.
