Two Emiratis killed, four hurt in car crash

Two Emirati men were killed and four were injured in a car crash caused by illegal overtaking in a rugged area near Dibba Fujairah.

The accident occurred in Sharm area between Khorfakkan and Dibba on Monday night and involved two vehicles carrying three men each.

“Two were killed and four sustained medium to serious injuries…the accident occurred because of negligence and illegal overtaking by one car,” said Captain Mohammed Al Zayoudi, head of Dibba traffic police.
