Two held with fake $144,000 notes
Two Cameroonians have been held for allegedly possessing forged US$144,000 notes.
Following a tip-off police raided their house in Al Manama area in Dubai, testified DI, a policeman. Poice confiscated a bag comprising $144,000 notes, and another satchel of white papers, the size of dollar notes, cotton and binding paper.
Two women, who were in the house, told police they were sharing the residence with the two accused and said the confiscated materials belonged to the two men.
Criminal report said the $100 notes are forged.
The two have denied the accusation.
Dubai Criminal COurt has adjourned the case for verdict until March 28.
