Buy a car now and save almost Dh50,000.

If you think the offer is too good to be true, go to the nearest BMW showroom and ask for a 2012 model 3-Series vehicle and you will be pleasantly surprised.

As part of a year-end offer, AGMC has introduced a new entry level 3 series for just Dh99,000.

Paiman El Malla, Regional Manager, Sharjah and Northern Emirates told 'Emirates24|7' that new entry level 3 series vehicles has been shipped into the UAE as part of the year end offer.

In comparison the new 3 series model with higher specs and a totally diffent look is priced at Dh150,000.

“Those who want to buy the entry level model can come to our showroom and check them out before we run out of stock,” said El Malla.

It’s not just the BMW. Almost all major car dealers are offering attractive discounts on existing stocks of 2012 models in an effort to clear their inventory.

At the recent Sharjah International Automobile Show, most car dealers said they have either launched, or are in the process of putting together, attractive year-end discounts.

Liberty Automobiles is offering discounts ranging from Dh10,000 to Dh15,000 on various 2012 Chevrolet models.

Al Habtoor Motors announced another year-ender offer where it is giving away one year’s free insurance and service-free 3M paint protection and a 5-year warranty on the Mitsubishi Pajero and its sport variant, the Outlander, ASX and Fortis.

“In fact for those who came to the Sharjah Expo and made a booking we are offering instant discounts of up to Dh10,000 even on newer models,” said Varghese Philip, Group General Manager, Communications at Liberty.

Al Nabooda, the sole distributor of Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen brands in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, recorded a 25 per cent increase so far on last year’s sales and Nissan registered a 15 per cent rise.

Arabian Automobiles saw a 33 per cent increase in the number of Nissan Altimas sold so far this year and a 15 per cent rise in BMW and Mini sales; Ford and Lincoln sales were up 38 per cent during the first half of the year; GM, which sells Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC cars, saw a rise of 11 per cent in the same period in the UAE; and Al Habtoor Motors witnessed a 88 per cent rise in the number of Bentleys sold.

Similarly, Al-Futtaim Honda has been offering Dh12,000 cash back on purchase of 2012 vehicles including the Accord, Civic, Pilot and CR-V. The offer will begin from December 4.
