UAE citizenship for 53 candidates

The General Department of Naturalisation and Residency at the Ministry of Interior granted today the UAE citizenship to 53 candidates born to Emirati mothers married to foreigners.

The beneficiaries hailed the kind gesture from the UAE leadership, pledging their allegiance to Allah, country and the leadership.

Major General Nasser bin Al Awadi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs, congratulated the beneficiaries, calling on them to become good citizens, keep good reputation of the country, observe the constitution, norms and traditions of the UAE community.

For his part, Emirati Khalifa Faisal Obaid, a beneficiary, thanked the UAE leadership, government and people, pledging to serve the country as a token of gratitude.
