UAE delivers 70,000 food baskets more in Yemen

Emirates Red Crescent has distributed 70,000 food baskets to people affected by ongoing events in a number of southern governorates in Yemen as part of the UAE’s programme to provide food assistance to the most vulnerable people.

The ERC official said the food assistance were given to people in the governorates of Aden, Taiz and Lahej.

They added that field teams were deployed to enhance the humanitarian response and swiftly deliver aid to the affected population who were experiencing severe lack of humanitarian conditions.

In education, the ERC is presenting 3,000 computers to schools to ensure smooth progress of the learning process.

Beneficiaries thanked the UAE leadership for its generous support for victims and affected people and praised the rapid response of the ERC to their basic needs.
