UAE exempts organic products registered in GCC from further analysis

The UAE authorities have exempted all the organic products registered in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait from any further analysis in the UAE, said a press statement sent to Emirates 24l7.

“The assessment committee of derived products from natural resources has approved the suggestion of exempting all registered products in Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait from previous analysis conditions,” the statement said.

The committee also approved to form team members from the committee to prepare a list of laboratories in foreign countries in preparation for signing memorandum of understandings between the Ministry of Health and these foresaid labs in order to analyse the derived product samples submitted for registration as well as other public sale products in the country of origin.
