UAE introduced regulatory changes to its visa system allowing new multiple entry tourism permit for cruise passengers and for medical tourists and their companions. (File)
The Republic of Montenegro has exempted UAE nationals from requiring a visa to enter the country, Foreign Ministry confirmed on Twitter, reported ‘Al Bayan’ newspaper.
Emiratis now join a list of 36 countries in the world to enter Montenegro without a visa.
This year will also witness the EU's decision to exclude UAE nationals from Schengen visa. Emiratis will be able to travel to 28 European member states.
This will take the number of countries in the world that allow citizens to enter without visa to 64.
Furthermore, nine countries grant visas to Emiratis at airports and ports of entry or through the internet.
Montenegro Embassy in Abu Dhabi said, the exemption of UAE nationals from prior visa requirements will help strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in the fields including investment, tourism and transport.
