UAE Hot Air Balloon Team prepares to launch balloons in name of President, VP

The UAE Hot Air Balloon Team has continued its preparations to launch the hot air balloons of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in Khartoum and several other Sudanese cities in July.

This step, which aims to define the depth of fraternal relations between the UAE and Sudan and the high regard of the UAE’s leadership and people for the leadership and people of Sudan, was announced during the meeting between Mohammed Amin Abdullah Al Kareb, Sudan’s Ambassador to the UAE, and the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team, headed by Captain Abdul Aziz Nasser Al Mansouri, Head Pilot, at the headquarters of the Sudanese Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Kareb praised the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team and the high level of professionalism and international workmanship that the UAE’s youth is especially renowned, and their defining of the culture of tolerance and communication between the people of the world, which the wise leadership of the country has called for.

Captain Al Mansouri highlighted to Ambassador Al Kareb the local and international successes of the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team since the beginning of its launch of an international tour by the balloon, "The World Will Not Forget You, Zayed", under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, who believes in the ability of the UAE’s youth to deliver the vision and message of the country’s leadership to all people and countries of the world, while immortalising, through the international tour, the vision of the Founder Sheikh Zayed to make the UAE an oasis of security and happiness for all cultures and people of the world.

Captain Al Mansouri stressed that despite the extreme dangers that they face while flying in many regional and international events that will not stop the sons of the UAE in striving to represent their country’s leadership.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Al Kareb valued the great efforts of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for Arab unity and what the UAE’s sons strive for, who have achieved greatness due to this great support and the constant desire and generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, as an honourable mirror that reflects the tolerance of the Islamic religion, while spreading the spirit of peace and tolerance in a modern way between the people of the world through one language and vision.
