UAE officer martyred in Bahrain bomb blast: Saif bin Zayed

UAE's First Lieutenant Tareq Mohammed Ahmed Al Shehi and two of his Bahraini colleagues were martyred in line of duty while combating a terrorist group at the village of Daih, in Bahraini capital, Manama, announced Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.

Sheikh Saif strongly condemned this heinous crime, affirming that terrorism is a plague and all its forms and manifestations should be fought everywhere.

In his statement, Sheikh Saif expressed his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved families of the three martyrs, praying to Allah to bestow his mercy on them and rest their souls in heaven and to grant their families the patience and solace to bear their loss.

He also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the terror act.
