Al Habtoor City, coming up next to Dubai Water Canal, will have one of the costliest penthouses in the UAE.

The prices range from Dh66,237,888 to Dh209,844,888 depending on the configuration, according to Tamleek Real Estate Co, the exclusive sales agent for The Residence Collection, Al Habtoor City.

In fact, the company has sold the first of 12 penthouses in the “Ultimate Collection”, ranging from 880 square metres to 2,786 square metres. No details were given on the price of the unit sold.

There are two VIP penthouses, which cover four floors, offering 360 degree views of the emirate’s amazing skyline. In addition, there are a range of simplex and duplex penthouses within the collection.

The residence collection consists of three luxury towers comprising 1,460 apartments. In addition, residents can have access to a fully-equipped gymnasium, a tennis academy and the UAE’s largest pool deck.

“The demand for the wide range of product line up for sale at the exclusive development has been high since it was launched less than a month ago,” said company CEO Brian Etemad.

Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Al Habtoor Group said: “Al Habtoor City has been a highly-anticipated development from day one and is a destination in its own right. It is located in a prime location on Sheikh Zayed Road and directly on The Dubai Water Canal.”

The hotel collection in the project includes three Starwood hotels: The St. Regis Dubai, which opened late 2015, the W Dubai – Al Habtoor City and The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City, which are due to open in the coming months.

In March 2016, Emirates24|7 reported that that a Dh200 million penthouse in The One at Palm Jumeirah by Omniyat Properties will be ready for occupancy by 2018.

The 42,000-square feet unit will include 17,000 square feet terrace area, private treatment rooms, beauty centre, private steam and sauna facilities and private cinema.
