Federal Supreme Court sentences GCC national to five years in jail for insulting state figures

The State Security Division of the Federal Supreme Court has sentenced, in absentia, GCC national M.F.D to five years in jail for insulting the state figures and for spreading false news and rumours in a televised interview.

In another case, the court convicted Emirati national KH.T.R to 10 years in prison for joining Al Nusra Front terrorist group, an affiliate of Al Qaeda terror organisation.
