UAE tourists stranded in RAK valley: Chopper to the rescue

The Police Air Wing Department of Ras Al Khaimah, on Sunday morning, rescued four tourists of different nationalities from a valley in Ras Al Khaimah.

Pilot Lieutenant Saeed Rashid Yamahi, Chairman of the Air Wing of Ras Al Khaimah Police Department, said that once the communication was received at the operations room, the helicopter moved to Ghalila area where the tourists were stranded.

On finding them, first aid was provided as their health was found to be poor.

The tourists were stranded in the valley after their vehicle broke down.

Once stabilised the chopper air-lifted them to safety.
