The rapidly changing weather in the UAE is set to take a considerably hotter turn with the National Centre for Meterology and Seismology (NCMS) forecasting a substantial rise in day temperatures.

According to the NCMS forecast, the maximum temperature could climb as high as 38 deg C.

Overall, partly cloudy and hazy weather in general is forecast, with moderate winds that may cause dust and sandĀ over internal and exposed areas. Sea is forecast to be moderate.

Most parts of the UAE witnessed moderate to heavy showers early Monday morning.

RTA and police officals have urged motorists to respect speed limits.
