Two women passengers involved in two separate cases allegedly hid drugs - one in her digestive organ and the other in her reproductive system.
In the first case, ZAH, 28, Indonesian visitor, hid 216gms of crystal drugs in a condom stuffed in her uterus.
The passenger was arrested by police of Dubai International Airport and when asked if she was hiding banned items, she confessed to hiding drugs in her reproductive organ, policewoman Hind Sultaim testified.
She was asked to remove the condom. Police confiscated 216 crystal drugs wrapped in plastic and hidden in it, testified the policewoman.
In the second case, a 45-year-old Nigerian woman smuggled in 93 capsules of 1.286Kgs of cocaine in her digestive organ and underwear, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
Second Lieutenant Salmin Hamad testified that police received a tip that a Nigerian visitor will attempt to smuggle drugs in her digestive organ.
Police investigated the tip and a squad headed to the airport at 5.30am on July 14, the suspect’s arrival time.
A policewoman was assigned to search TAO, and found 43 capsules hidden in her underwear. TAO confessed to the policewoman that she hid another 50 capsules in her digestive organ.
TAO released the 50 tablets in Dubai hospital.
The two accused confessed to the accusation and the court adjourned their cases for verdict on October 25.
