US to Dubai return @ $650: How to nab deal

While residents of the UAE can take advantage of Emirates’ summer bargain announced on Monday, the Dubai-based carrier has also launched a two-for-one deal for US-based customers flying to the emirate for a discounted fare of $650 (about Dh2,388) per person.

The airline, which flies to nine gateway cities in the US, including New York and capital Washington DC, has announced a new promotion allowing customers to book two round-trip tickets to Dubai for $1,299 (Dh4,774)  in total in economy class, inclusive of all applicable government taxes and fees.

According to the airline’s terms and conditions, the deal ends on March 12, is valid for travel until December 12, and has no blackout dates. Outbound travel may be from New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Houston, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Dallas Fort Worth to Dubai between March 24 and December 12, 2015, on Emirates operated flights (codeshares don’t apply).

An additional surcharge of $50 (Dh184) applies for outbound/inbound travel on weekend, per passenger. The deal requires a minimum stay of four days and a maximum stay of six months. Fares are applicable for two people only traveling together, on the same itinerary and in the same booking record.
