The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance gave a Bangladeshi three months in jail for using a passport belonging to another person while attempting to leave the country which he had entered and stayed in illegally.

AMM, 33, was also ordered to be deported after serving his jail term.

According to the records, on August 24, AMM presented a Bangladeshi passport to a Dubai International Airport staffer, claiming that he is Babul Ahmed as the passport and the visa showed.

It was found that the passport and the residence visa were genuine. The accused, who looked different from the real passport holder, confessed to using another person’s passport to get out of the country.
