Nearly 20,000 copies of the book "Reflections on Happiness and Positivity" by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, were sold out within 24 hours of its release, according to the publisher.
Spurred by the overwhelming response from readers, the publisher, Explorer, has decided to print 20,000 more copies of the book, which will be distributed in the local market within the next few days.
The book includes lessons, examples and stories based on an alternative life philosophy of positivity as a perspective, and happiness of the people as a goal and lifestyle.
The book received an overwhelming response soon after Sheikh Mohammad announced its release on his Twitter account.
Through the book, His Highness has tried to answer profound questions about development in a rather simple narrative style, so that the younger generation can relate to them easily. The book contributes towards sharing the UAE's experience and creating hope in the rest of the region to reignite civilisation.
Sheikh Mohammed has posed a different vision of administrative, developmental and cultural work, based on positivity, confidence and faith in the citizens of the Arab world.
He also spells out his philosophy in dealing with terrorism and his suggestions for the Arab governments and people to tackle cultural, economic and intellectual backwardness.
