Video: Dubai 'Darshan'… Eagle's eye view flying from top of Burj Khalifa

Now that's a real bird's eye view.

A conservation group offered it Saturday by attaching a small video camera to the back of ‘Darshan’, an eagle who took off from the top of Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower.

Darshan flew some 830 meters (2,700 feet), offering a breathtaking view of the commercial capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

His view, cruising alongside the Burj Khalifa, was viewed ‘live’ by those on the ground — including his roller-coaster dive onto a man's arm on the ground.

Freedom Conservation put on the show. The organisation says its goal was to draw more attention to eagle conservation.

The video, run by several news channels was tweeted by the Dubai Media Office and is set to go viral on social media.
