Wanted criminal found hiding in Sharjah

The Department of Criminal Investigation, Sharjah Police, arrested a wanted international criminal who infiltrated into the UAE after committing a crime in his home country.

The Asian suspect was found hiding in Sharjah in order to avoid prosecution in his country after having killed a person in 2012.

Police acted upon a reliable tip-off received about his whereabouts.

The police team is in the process of completing the legal formalities to hand him over to his country.

The General Command of Sharjah Police said, “The security agencies in the UAE will spare no effort in ensuring the safety and stability of the country. We co-operate with Interpol  and are always ready to track and arrest any criminal and hand them over to the concerned country.”
