“We hope that the show will not only add to the admiration and appreciation we have for our troops, but will also reaffirm to the UAE public the level of discipline, and mental and physical strength it takes to be a member of the Armed Forces.”

“The collaboration with Image Nation and the premiere of this show on our network is another important step towards fulfilling Abu Dhabi Media’s commitment to public service.”
“The series is aimed at increasing awareness of the role of the UAE’s Armed Forces, offering viewers a glimpse into the lives of its personnel and the challenging duties they endure. We are certain this program will be a success and audiences will enjoy the opportunity to learn more about the daily encounters of our soldiers,” he added.
Hayati Walaskariya (My Military/My Life) will air every Wednesday, beginning March 5, at 7.30pm.
Episode 1 – Life on the Move/Hayat Al Tarhaal
In Episode 1, the documentary profiles men who protect the UAE’s maritime and land borders, and the engineer who ensures they are armed with state-of-the-art equipment. We go with these men on board a navy ship, The Corvette, and find out what tactics the team use to defend the country.
After a tough day at work, the cameras get a behind-the-scenes peek at the home lives of the UAE’s armed forces. While one soldier prefers the calming and uplifting nature of his home emirate, the others can’t seem to get enough of the excitement on the job.
