Wife killer begs for pardon from father-in-law

An Asian man who faces execution for murdering his wife is begging her father to pardon him so the court in Ras Al Khaimah will reduce a possible death sentence, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The criminal court is due to issue its sentence against the defendant on May 25 after he confessed to stabbing her to death because of her alleged infidelity, the semi official daily Alittihad said.

The unnamed killer said his wife admitted that she was unfaithful to him and that he had found evidence of her infidelity in her mobile phone, the paper said.

“The defendant has appealed for his wife’s father to pardon him so the court will reduce its possible death sentence against him.”
